Maseno Educational Centre (MEC) established in 2011 is located on the equator at the edge of the beautiful and attractive Maseno Hills in Kisumu County, a quiet rural neighbourhood, 22 kilometres North West of Kisumu City in Kenya. By and large, the area has near perfect climate and environment conducive to serious study. The institution is a co-education day and boarding school open to pupils of all religions, races, and nationalities willing to pursue the Kenya National Educational Curriculum leading to the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. MEC is a full day and boarding learning institution comprising — — Early Years Education — two years of pre-primary (4-5 years) and three years of lower primary school (6-8 years ) education and, Middle School Education that comprises three years of upper primary (9-11 years) and three years of lower secondary (12-14 years) education.

The school operates an efficient and effective transport system that is on time and on schedule. This makes the timing of arrival at school and departure to be more child friendly. The transport system includes a fleet of three vehicles.

MEC also has an Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) College that offers school-based Diploma in Primary Teacher Education (DPTE) virtually and in-person, during the holidays.
